Who Is Behind Gemma’s Disappearance? – Ringer Review
Ringer‘s newest episode “The Poor Kids Do It Everyday” picks up where it left off last week. Andrew came home and told Bridget about what happened. This alarmed her and has her digging around seeking the truth. She suspects that Henry has something to do with it; despite he denies it and places the blame on her. She then reports Gemma is missing, only to be traced to the case thanks to fingerprints. This makes Agent Machado back on her case, calling Bridget thinking that he is talking to Siobhan. Mean while the real Siobhan is still in Paris and gets the phone call that her mission has been completed. All while Juliet starts public school, only to find a new set of issues to deal with.
Again, this show provides us with a lot of twist and has also given us a new idea of what could have happened to Gemma. I love the fact that Bridget is smart enough to see Henry for what he is, but I also think that we need to entertain the idea that Siobhan had something to do with Gemma’s “death”. I am personally thinking that they way the writers have written this show so far has done a fabulous job. While the truth will likely come out as we get closer to the season finale, I am enjoying the drama very much. I do still believe that Bridget is far smarter than Siobhan. The fact that she saw that Henry was guilty to a degree in Gemma’s disappearance is enough proof that she knows there is a lot more than the eye can see.
I really felt bad for Juliet in this episode. I will admit that at first I did not like her, but she certainly is being picked on unfairly by these kids. I hope that she will be able to come out of it stronger than before. I also love the fact that she is connecting with Bridget. It shows that both women are not as bad as we thought from the start. Bridget really is working over time to make up for the sins of her twin. It is a shame that her twin feels the need to ruin lives and yet places blame on her sister. Bridget at the very least is working on bettering her own life and Siobhan’s. You can’t say that Siobhan has done that at all. At the very least, she could have compassion but that seems to be beyond her.
Who is your favorite character so far in the show? I really do love all of the characters on this show, even if they have a few bad ones. I do think that they add depth to the show. With that being said, I certainly hope that Gemma is okay and will make a comeback later on in the show. It is a shame that she is missing and Bridget seems to be the only one concerned about it. Maybe we will see justice being served in the near future on the show.
