Stick It To Sensei – Disney PrankStars With Tiffany Thornton – Review
This month’s episode of PrankStars was “So Random” but also very fun. It showed us Tiffany Thornton and Leo Howard as the pranksters for “Stick It To Me”. It started off with Tiffany having her fan, Darby to help her write a song for a made up video game. Of course, we all know that Tiffany writes songs and does a good job at it, but they used Darby, who was nervous and not as experienced in songwriting. However, she tried and fell flat. I personally feel like they really humiliated her on the show. She really was put on spot and also thrown into an awkward position that nobody would do well with. Like being inspired by dirt? Seriously, that would make nobody feel very inspired. I also think that it might hurt her feelings about music, as they did say that she wants to sing just like Tiffany. I do think they took it too far; however she was a good sport about it. I just hope she does not feel bad after seeing it air on TV.
Leo pranked his fan, Matt at a Dojo. They both were attending a class and let’s just say that Matt seemed to be favored over Leo. This bothered Leo, who wanted Matt to defend him. Needless to say that this prank was more fair, even if it still was still kind of mean. However, I do think that at the very least he was able to feel good through out the prank. Most pranks on the show do not provide that for the kids. So I will give credit where it is due. It was interesting that they would have a martial arts star on their network, so it was surprising that Disney had Leo on the show. With that being said, I do prefer this prank over the first one due to how it turned out.
My only real issue with the show is that they only air a new episode once per month. It really does make it frustrating, but I am hoping that will change since they are on their first season. Maybe that will change if they are ordered for a second season, which I hope will be the case. If they do that then I hope that they can keep up this same level of pranks. While I may not like every prank, I do enjoy it enough where I would watch it every week. Even twice a month is better than just once a month. However, I do realize that with only 10 episodes airing this season they needed to stretch out the season.
Speaking of hopefully another season, if they do they better have some big stars lined up. I would hate to see them stick with the same ol’ guest that they had this season. It just would make the show a huge repeat in so many ways. However, I have hope that they will not make that mistake at all. How do you feel about the show? Tell us in the comments below!
