Selena Gomez Love Song #1 In Russia

Russia is throwing a little love in Selena Gomez’s direction as her Love Song reaches #1 on the charts.

The former Disney starlet has not lost her touch in heating up the charts When The Sun Goes Down the third album fro Selena was released on June 28, 2011.  The album debuted at Number 4 on the Billboard 200 selling 78,000 copies in her first week  which became the highest sales week.  Who Says the bands signature single has already been certified Platinum.  Selena was recently in the news for getting a temporary restraining order on a crazed man who had mentioned to a court ordered therapist that he often thought of killing Selena.  And she admits that the crazed or even very excited fans can get a little overwhelming and it is not one of her favourite parts of being famous.

Selena had written some of her own songs for When The Sun Goes Down adding a more personal touch to her third album this time around.  The songs she didn’t write were about her life for her, so she found it interesting to see how others view her and hoped it help the fans relate more to her.  Selena also gives a shout out to her fans for making her Number 1 even after her album has been out for a while.  What do you think of Selena’s newest accolade?
