Ringer It’s Gonna Kill Me But I’ll Do It recap

Ringer keeps on getting better and better with each episode. “It’s Gonna Kill Me, But I’ll Do It” plays on Bridget’s fear of being caught. Not only does she have to lie about her own life, but also Siobhan’s. It is tough for her to hide two truths from the world. Bridget realizes Agent Machado has dug up information and is now questioning those close to her. This freaks her out so much she burns her old stuff, which she does not know that Machado already found.

Siobhan’s husband bonds with her and takes her away for her birthday. This causes flashbacks for both her and her twins, who have been out-of-touch for years. He also invited Gemma and Henry, who surprise Bridget, but things quickly turn for the worse. At one point, Henry and Bridget get in a fight that leads to him telling her sorry at the birthday party. That is when Gemma overhears the truth and confronts Bridget. Bridget then tells her the truth, even letting her know that she is not Siobhan.

While this is going on, Siobhan is still in Paris. She makes sure the mysterious Tyler knows she is sorry for kicking him out. However, he appears to have moved on. Despite that, she makes sure that he does not forget her. He takes pity on her when he finds out that she is broke and married, and takes her under his wing and wallet.

I will admit that this show is juicy! I cannot believe how Gemma reacted to Bridget when she told her the truth. While she obviously feels betrayed, she does not need to take her anger out on Bridget. I certainly agree that Siobhan is no real friend, but look at how she treated her own sister. She really only cares about herself and places the blame on Bridget. Maybe Bridget has issues, but I think she is the better one of the sisters. She at least has a heart and compassion, something that Siobhan has yet to learn.

What did you think about this week’s episode? I loved it; it is really picking up the pace. I think we finally see how those people in Siobhan’s life are just as bad as she is. It really shows that Bridget was being misjudged, but she is only learning this now that she is healing her own life. I wonder how it will affect Siobhan in real life? I am starting to think that Bridget might wind up in jail by the time mid-season finale rolls around.
