Lil Wayne Hoping To See His Kids More

Lil Wayne the iconic rapper best known for his songs Lollipop and GO D.J. may be on top of his game right now but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have any plans.  In fact one of his plans is early retirement.

Featured on the cover of GQ magazine he opened up to the magazine and his plans for the future.  LiL Wayne confesses he’s been in the music business and hopes to retire early and spend some more time with his kids.  He says the main reason he thinks of stepping out of the limelight in six years is because his kids are only 7 and 6 years old right and he would like to spend more time being with them and watching them grow up more.  His hectic schedule means he is on the road a lot and he has only  Drake and Nicki Minaj signed to his label right now and would like to see that list expand a bit more.

He admits he is sometimes a selfish artist and always wants to do more, but his focus looks to be more in producing and working behind the scenes of the music business to spend his time more where needs to be which is at home with his family and kids.  His latest track with Drake called the ‘Real Her’ has made it’s way online.  What do you think about Lil Wayne’s early retirement ideas?
