Farmville Movie a Joke say Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen

We had the opportunity tonight at a press event to speak directly with Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen about Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure and while we have the video coming soon, we wanted to update the world on what their attachment to Farmville the movie is as we got to sneak that question in.From Joel Cohen’s mouth:

Just definitively, we have no plans to make a Farmville Movie

Alec also says “that was a total mess-up . . . a bad attempt at humor”.  We have the entire video which talks about Skylanders and we really get into some of the creative storytelling aspects of the game coming in the next few days.  These guys are both a pleasure to speak with, and we are super happy that they are so firmly attached to the Activision game.  We are very tired from all of the running around at NYCC so expect the video soon, but we felt that Alec and Joel wanted to set the record straight about the Farmville movie.
