Dress Up As Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez For Halloween

Halloween is a time most people like to dress up as something scary, but not everybody is into that. In fact, some like to dress up as their favorite star and that is why many companies are selling costumes of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. Justin’s look seems to be a popular favorite, with many sites selling it this year. It is a white jacket, purple top and white pants. Pretty simple enough even for those who do not to buy the actual costume. However, the Selena ones are more based on her Alex Russo character than herself in real life. They have 2 Alex Russo options, with one being a turquoise velvet dress and the other is a stripe dress. Another popular option is Miley Cyrus for this year.

I am not sure how I feel about dressing up as a celebrity. Maybe as an adult or teen is fine, but little kids shouldn’t. It just seems not to be right or even cute. Kids should be kids, not teen icons who are dreamed about. I realize that this is just my personal opinion but at the very least help kids stay kids on Halloween. Also, I have a feeling that most of these costumes will be require extra accessories to be bought online. I am not sure how many stores would actually carry an Alex Russo costume.

Do you like the idea of Bieber and Selena costumes? I am just not a fan of them or any other celebrity costume for kids. I do think that maybe once around age 14 then it is fine, but little girls dressing like Miley Cyrus is not cute. Plus, they have plenty of actually cute costumes to pick. It is not like they are limited to these 3 options, thankfully.
