Selena Gomez had a little run at her recent MTV EMA promo where she went all “hood”. Now we get to see the behind the scenes look of her fun shoot. I like how Selena is willing to try new things. Sure, going hood likely is not her mainstream thing, but it was likely a fun thing to do once. Plus her boyfriend likely would adore her acting like a hip-hop star. After all, he is a fan of rap music all the way and watching her rap was likely one of his favorite moments. She does seem to do it pretty well, so if she ever wanted to record a rap album it might actually work.

What do you think of Selena’s humor in the promo? I know a lot of people are torn over it, but I liked it. It is out of the norm for Selena, but as a whole, it was just an acting role. I doubt she will start living and acting that way, so it certainly does not make her a bad role model.
