The Muppets Parody Video

There is a new “Muppets” parody preview: “The Pig with the Froggy Tattoo.” Whenever there is a new spoof preview with “The Muppets”, it is a good thing.

The most recent parody pokes fun at Dave Fincher’s version of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.” Fincher’s movie is very unlike “The Muppets” as any wide-release movie can be. The film’s teaser preview from some months ago, adjusts quite well to Kermit, Jason Segel and company. “We know we haven’t done a parody in a while,” the smart-cut title card reads, ” but one trailer made us stop “Dragon ” our feet. Get it? Man, that thing was awesome. They had us as “Dragon our feet: but the closing “Wocka, Wocka, Wocka” pretty well seals the deal.” “The Muppets” opens in theaters on November 23, 2011.

I think “The Muppet” spoofs are clever and entertaining. One never knows what “The Muppets” will parody. It keeps one guessing and each one is very good and cute. Other “Muppet” spoofs are Ryan Reynold’s film, “The Green Lantern”, “The Hangover”, “The Hangover, Part II”, and “Green with Envy. I think everyone enjoys spoofs on popular culture. I am looking forward to seeing the new parodies with “The Muppets”.
