The Hunger Games Wraps Up Most Filming

The Hunger Games ended their principal photography for the movie, Lionsgate recently announced. The movie is slated for a March 2012 release, which puts them right on schedule. While they did provide a few photos from the set and held a contest for fans to visit the set-they did keep a closed set. They worked hard to keep it under wraps during the production. They already have acquired the rights for 3 more movies from the series.

Lionsgate has high hopes that this series will do what Twilight has done for Summit and Harry Potter did for Warner Bros. All the studios are seeking out the next big movie series now that the current ones are done or are almost done. With the fans from this book series being all eager for the series, there is no doubt that it will live up to Lionsgate’s hopes.

What do you think about their rush on the movie? I think that they are just seeking for a huge boost like the rest of the studios. I also think that they had to speed along filming since it took forever to build their cast. Either way, I can say that this movie is well on its way now.
