Bridget Ruins Everything – Ringer Review

Ringer‘s second episode, “She’s Ruining Everything,” picked up where the show left off last week. Bridget realizes that she killed a guy and tries to figure out who he is. After standing around and not knowing what to do, she calls Malcolm to tell him what is going on. She started to leave a message about it but changed her mind. She drags off the body and tries to clean up, which she cannot do since her friend is coming. So she throws some tarps over the body and bloody floor. Gemma comes in and tells her that they need to do some major repairs, which she agrees to do. However, she has to clean up the body, and that puts stress on her. She decides to call Malcolm, who swears he will not blab but still tries to convince her to leave. She agrees to do that.

Next, she goes and cleans out Siobhan’s bank account, not knowing that Siobhan is in Paris. Siobhan finds this out when she goes to withdraw it in Paris. It makes her angry, and she calls someone to tell them that Bridget needs to taken care of. Meanwhile Siobhan’s stepdaughter is partying and taking drugs, but asks “Siobhan” to stay since she knows that she is ready to leave. Bridget decides to stay, despite the fact that Siobhan’s husband is cheating on her and that it is dangerous for her. She knows that she is needed and can finally give back after years of taking from her loved ones.  Gemma still does not know that Siobhan had an affair with her husband. Gemma and her husband get into a public fight at Andrew’s party with his partner, who he is also seeing on the side. However, she does choose to stick it out with him since she still loves him. All the while, FBI Agent Machado is still stalking Bridget. He kept bothering her, knowing that there is more to the case than he knows. However, he has no idea that Bridget is playing Siobhan yet.

This episode did not lose their edge at all! The fact that Bridget finally gets to make her “life” correct and help someone else in need really makes the show. Just the fact that she wants to make her sister’s life correct, even though she lived a sordid life. I think it proves to us that Bridget is serious about making amends and fixing all of her wrongs. That is something we all could learn from this series. I cannot wait to see what will happen next week once again. The show is full of suspense!
