Pretty Little Liars Halloween Special Preview

The Pretty Little Liars has just aired their mid-season finale, but they will air a special Halloween episode. It will be a flashback of when Alison was still alive. However, it will not tie in with the show exactly, it will be related it to as a sort of prequel. It will premiere October 19th and will be a special for ABC Family. It is great that they are sticking with the new Halloween special for the show. It will give the fans of the series something new to look forward to until the season returns. I am sure that the fans have already marked their calendar over this episode. It is a huge plus for them, as well as a way to give fans a bit more of a back-story. While it won’t be a full prequel kind of thing, it certainly is better than no prequel. Maybe this will inspire them to have a made for TV movie prequel. That would be perfect for a mid-season break in the future.

What do you think about the upcoming Halloween special? Should they release an actual prequel? I certainly feel so, but this might have to do as a prequel. While everybody loves a good Halloween special, an actual prequel is a new idea for them. You can only do a Halloween special so many times before fans get bored. While this is only their second, they still need to develop a better idea for next year.
