prankstars pirate episode review

This month’s episode of PrankStars, called “Walk the Prank,” shows us more of what Mitchel Musso promised:  some of Disney’s coolest stars pulling funny pranks on their biggest fans. Zendaya Coleman and Cody Simpson were this month’s stars who pranked their fans.

It started off with Zendaya, who pranks Jordan.

Jordan and her family come to a pirate-themed restaurant, which she is told Sunday’s family runs. However, Zendaya’s first mate was not there and she needed one. So she asked Jordan to help, which she agreed to do. They train her to do some silly stuff, which she falls for. Then a “food critic” comes into play, and she has to help Zendaya. However, things don’t go according to plan when the cook messes the food up and ask that Jordan to take a bite out of the fish that was to be served to the food critic. Jordan also learns that they put coconut in it. When she brings it out to the critic, he is not pleased. He asks if anyone took a bite out of it and what was in the dish, which she tells him that it has coconut, while Sunday said nobody took a bite out of it. He claims that he hates coconut and now has to give them a bad review. He writes it up and hands it to Jordan to read, which make her burst out laughing. She realizes that this was a prank, and it wraps up.

This was funny one and played out well. However, I am surprised that she believed the story. It seems a bit off, but it was funny prank, and she was glad to find out it was fake. She was a great sport about it, and Zendaya was so kind to her. I think they played it out well; it was definitely one of their better pranks. This is a direction that they should go in more often.

Next we saw Cody Simpson prank Emily. She thought she was attending a concert of his, only to be brought up on stage. She was asked to dance and sing along, which she reluctantly agreed to do. His manager got mad since they would be streaming the performance live, but agreed that she could stay. She stayed around acting foolish, but was delighted to be next to Cody. Then the manager got mad at her for stealing the show, which upset her greatly. Luckily, they did not keep that up and brought Mitchel out to end the prank.

I felt that they were too mean to her. I don’t think she deserved to be yelled at, even if it is fake. However, she handled it well, and that made it a tiny bit less hard to watch. I just wish they treated her better and maybe kept her from making that much of a fool out of herself.

What do you think about the show? I felt bad for her. I preferred the first prank; it was played out way better. Maybe they will watch this back and see just how mean they were to Emily. But let’s go back to talking about future episodes. Who do you hope appears on the show next?
