Justin Timberlake To Be Honored With Environmental Award
Justin Timberlake is going to have to dust off his shelf to make room for another award. The singer/actor is to be hailed next month for his environmental efforts with a special award.
The Rock Your Body singer is following in the foot steps of such actors as Edward Norton, Rosario Dawson and Maroon 5 by picking up the Futures prize at the Environmental Media Awards. The Environmental Media Awards (EMA), applauds future environmental leaders in the entertainment field. Timberlake is being praised for reducing his carbon footprint on his tours. He has started a eco-friendly golf course near Memphis, Tennessee. Justin has also took up the cause of activism for environmental issues like energy consumption and reducing greenhouse emissions.
EMA President Debbie Levin is labelling the star “a great example of how you can lend your voice for positive change”. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 15th in Burbank, California. Recently A Time to Kill novel has recently been translated to a stage play and if all goes well with the reading and producers the play could hit Broadway soon.
