Joey King as Ramona

Joey King from Ramona and Beezus and Willow Shields from The Hunger Games have teamed up with CustomInk for the Be Good To Each Other campaign. They are kicking off for October, which is the anti-bully month. They along with other celebrities will release special edition shirts for the collection. The most awesome part is that you can also go on their website to design your own shirt, if you would like to. They want to promote kids to wear the shirts on the 3rd of October, since that is World Day of Bullying Prevention.

I am happy that they have joined this great project. However, I do think that everyday should be used to end bullying. Granted, I know the month is meant to bring awareness, which is good-but we need to do more. Maybe they can make this a more of a regular movement? That would be the best thing that they could do. I am sure so many kids would love if they took this kind of thing full time.

What do you think about this movement? I am pleased to see that they do have it, but I feel as if it isn’t enough. While people cannot stop all bullies, I do think the more stances we make the better it will become for kids. Shirts can only do so much if they are worn only once a year. We can become so much more effective than that.
