Demi Lovato Provides Samples From Unbroken

By on September 15, 2011

Demi Lovato has released a few snippets of her new songs off her upcoming album Unbroken. She released a trial for her second single called “All Night Long”, which features Miss Elliott and Timbaland. It is a very upbeat and dance type song. It doesn’t even sound like the Demi we know, it reminds me more of Emily Osment and Rihanna than Demi. It is also very different from her lead single. You can hear it on her official album’s site. The album will drop on the 20th of September. You can also try to hear samples from CD Universe, however I tried 3 of the songs and nothing played. But that might be my computer as well.

Demi has been working so hard on this album; I think it is something she is so proud of in her career. Then again, it should be since it really is from her soul. I also think she has some amazing messages that she wants to take public. I really see her career going mainstream and she will no longer be seen just as a former Disney star. I think she has made that extremely hard crossover successful.

What do you think of her new song? I like it, while it takes a while to get used to her new sound I do think it works. She has grown up and is showing us that much more mature side of her. Unlike some of her fellow former Disney stars, I don’t think she pushed herself through it too fast. In a way, she had to make this transition for her own recovery. Thus, I think it was a healthy switch for her and she did it the right way by all means.
