Demi Lovato Drops Single Who’s That Boy

It looks like 19 may be Demi Lovato’s lucky number.  The singer and actress who was noted for going into treatment last year for her eating disorder and other personal issues, but now Demi is back in the limelight with her third studio album Unbroken.

Teen pop star Demi Lovato released her comeback album on Tuesday, offering up pump-up tracks and a glimpse into her personal life.   The 19-year-old musician just announced her brand-new single — “Who’s That Boy”!  Demi hopes to be shooting a music video for her single soon.  While to some the album is slightly disjointed at times, altering between party tracks and emotional ballads, it is apparent that Lovato has changed her sound significantly. The album has more R&B, pop and electronic influences may surprise some of her fans, Lovato’s vocals have improved tremendously and she delves into some major personal issues critical to understanding her not only as an artist, but an individual.

Her lead single, “Skyscraper,” symbolizes her journey of dealing with her personal struggles to her current stance pledging to be a role model for young girls. A song in defiance of people bringing her down.  While there are no words yet on any official tour, from what you have heard so far what do you think of Demi’s album?
