Blake Lively To Fight Off Zombies?
Gossip Girl‘s Blake Lively could be a leading lady in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which is based on a book of the same written by Seth Graham-Smith. Blake is rumored to be considered for the lead role of Lizzie Bennet, Vanquisher of the Undead. While this is unconfirmed, it should be noted that Natalie Portman and Emma Stone have also been considered for the action packed film.
This would be a bit of stretch for Blake. While she did star in Green Lantern, she hasn’t really been required to fight others. So that might be an issue for someone who typically plays a rich girl as she does. While that does not mean she could not succeed in it, I just don’t how they would feel to cast someone like her for such a huge role.
Do you think Blake could pull it off? I am not sure, but she would make an interesting one for sure. I would love to see her break out of the rut she has been in for a while now. However, I can see why they might be against the idea of it. It might be more of a risk than having benefits for them. I suppose only time will provide us with the right answer.

I really don’t think Blake is in a “rut”.
Sure, she plays the rich Upper East Sider in Gossip Girl, but the only reason we’re so used to seeing her in that light is because it’s a regular role that she’s in.
Her performance in The Town and in Green Lantern are both roles very far from what she does ion Gossip Girl.
I think Blake would be perfect for this role. We’ve seen her do action, and obviously she’s great at adapting to different roles. So I think she could totally pull this off and make it huge.
