Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith Are Not Separating

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith issued a statement Tuesday saying the rumor of their marriage dissolving wasn’t true. This statement was given to “Access Hollywood.”

The pair said they were reluctant to respond to that kind of press report. The Smiths said,” We are still together and our marriage is intact.”

On Tuesday morning “In Touch Weekly” reported that the Hollywood couple had decided to separate after thirteen years of marriage. I always felt that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s marriage was a strong one and would last. Especially after Will Smith said, “divorce is not an option” in 2008. He said this on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” After a failed marriage, Will Smith sounds determined not to divorce again. Smith’s parents did separate when he was thirteen but did not divorce until he was around thirty. His parent’s marriage most likely caused his determination not to be divorced again. I think this most recent rumor is just another mean story going around. Earlier this year, Will Smith was rumored to be dead. I think the sources either need to find something positive to occupy their time or the sources of the rumor mill are plain jealous. I do think Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith will have a long lasting marriage.
