The Secret Circle Cast Interviewed About New Show

The CW has a handful of new shows and we have a video of cast interviews with The Secret Circle cast. They all were interviewed on the red carpet. You will find the video at the bottom of this post.

The show is about a girl named Cassie who moves to a town (Salem) where she finds out that it is full of witches and she soon learns she is one of them. But as life with any teen, she finds herself in middle of drama and competition. How can Cassie cope with these new found powers, on top of all her regular teen stuff? The series is based on books of the same name and is classified as a romantic fantasy. It will go well with the rest of the CW’s fantasy shows like The Vampire Diaries. Further more so for those seeking info, Ali Lohan (Lindsay Lohan’s sister) auditioned for a role in the show, but she was turned down. It premiers on September 15th.

I think the show sounds interesting, even if it does sort of follow the whole current fantasy trend. It will be interesting to see how this show does. I doubt it will do as good as The Vampire Diaries, but you never know. As for a cast pretty much full of unknowns, again, I will say this is a risk-but the CW typically does cast unknown actors for their shows. I guess they hope to find the next big star, like they did with the cast of Gossip Girl and The Vampire Diaries. Are you planning to watch this show?
