Selena Gomez Wants Fan Input Over Fragrance

Selena Gomez is not one who is afraid to ask her fans for a little help. Previously, she has asked them to tell her what songs to cover in concert and now she wants their help with her upcoming perfume. She launched her website for the upcoming perfume, where she is having fans sign up for news about the fall launch so they can help her choose which notes to put in it. Here is what Selena posted on her Twitter and Facebook pages about the site.

Selena who has shared her love of fashion before and her boyfriend has his own perfume out now so this is no surprise. However, we can say that we are impressed that she actually asked them for input. However, it could also be a wise marketing move for her to make. Like she said herself, only they will know what they really to smell like.

How do you feel about this move? Is it smart of Selena to have her fans help? I know some might say it is one way for her to be able to prevent blame on herself for a potential flop. So it could be seen as both smart and dumb, but I like the fact that she wants her fans input in it.
