Scotty McCreery’s Music Video For “I Love You This Big”

American Idol season 10 winner Scotty McCreery has finally released his music video for “I Love You This Big”. After winning the title in May, he is finally able to settle down for his career outside of the show. You can find the music video at the bottom of this post.

I am really glad that he won. We need more music with uplifting messages and country music can provide that. While I am still a fan of Pia Toscano and James Durbin, they will likely do better without the Idol title. But lets put our attention back on the music video. It was well edited and made, which I cannot say that about many music videos. I should also note that his single is climbing the charts fast! This is great news for him and proves that the show can put out successes without them being pop-based (even Carrie Underwood has a touch of pop in her music).

What do you think about the music video? Scotty really knows how to tell a story with his face and I think that helped to make a good music video. I wonder how he feels about finally having his very own. I know that I would beyond thrilled to have a single and music video of my very own. Let alone for a minor, this is pretty huge for him at the point. I think he will have a lasting career much like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have had.
