Miley Cyrus Talks About Science

You already know that Miley Cyrus is one of the coolest singers out there right now but did you know that she’s a self-professed science nerd?

In a recent video clip(see below) for the upcoming television special called i.am FIRST Science is Rock and Roll, Miley Cyrus talks about her love for science and more specifically about outer space. Here is what she said:

“Everyone in the room is laughing at me because I’m gonna talk about how cool science is and that’s because I’m a nerd. My favorite part about science was learning about outer space, and I’m very interested in aliens and what else is out there and all the different planets.”

Science is cool and learning it can be a fun experience. I think this show will inspire kids and tweens to develop a strong interest in science, and that would be a very good thing. I think that a good education cannot be stressed enough and its so important for kids to be exposed to various science topics like astronomy, biology, and meteorology.
