Jason Segel Talks About the Muppets Movie

Jason Segel the man who plays Marshall on How I Met Your Mother took a moment away from the busy set to talk about his much anticipated Muppets movie.

When Jason was asked about how how the Muppets movie is progressing, he commented that everything is going well.  He says he feels like he has tricked everybody and joked that he has several people working on the movie that have worked with Meryl Streep.  While he wouldn’t reveal all the actors and actresses involved in the movie, he did confirm that Jack Black and Emily Blunt were going to be in the movie as well as a couple of Oscar winners.  But he is glad to be able to have a chance to sing and dance and play with the puppets.  When he was asked how he got all those involved he did mention that several of the actors were asked to call around to their friends to see if they would be interested in being in the movie.  He believes that several signed on because they have kids and wanted to be a part of a movie they would grow up to watch.

Jason did say that the movie will have several callbacks to the previous movies and made to movies in a 70′s and 80′s theme but set in the modern day.  Will you go see the Muppets movie?
