Is Demi Lovato Returning To Disney?

Rumors have been buzzing around that Demi Lovato would be returning to Disney Channel shortly. However, according to her reps (reported by DisneyInfoNet) that is not the case. The rumor got started when former co-star Allison Arm stated that she wished Demi would return, but many thought that she said that Demi was going to return. Demi’s reps have reportedly said that was not the case.

Demi has made it clear that being on screen would not be healthy for her. While she never said that is what sent her over the edge, she has hinted that it has a strong influence on her. Thus, she is taking a break, but she has also shared that she would love to go back one day. Demi seems to be focused on her music, much like her start in show business was. She currently is working on an album and has hinted at a possible tour! Demi by no means seems to have time for acting right now, anyways. As for why the rumors were started was most likely because fans miss her.

What do you think about Demi staying off screen? I think that if she feels that is what is required for recovery, then she should do it. Sometimes those who have had eating disorders need to avoid those triggers and if that was trigger than she better off singing only.
