DisneyXD Premiere Of Phineas and Ferb The Movie Has High Rankings

Disney XD’s debut of “Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension” is the number one movie telecast on record. For kids ages 6-11 and boys 6-11 it ranked 3rd for the target demos. For boys 6-14 it ranked 4th of all telecasts on the channel.

Disney XD (xtreme digital) is a basic cable channel. It has a mix of live-action and animated programming for kids ages 6-14. It especially targets boys in their search for discovery, accomplishment, sports, adventure, and humor. The Disney XD includes television, online, mobile, and VOD platforms. The programming has series, movies, and short-form. It has sport-themed programming developed with ESPN. In the US, Disney XD is on 24 hours reaching over 78 million households. Disney XD is in UK, France,Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Greece, Turkey, Latin America, Japan, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and Canada.

I don’t think kids care about telecast records, target demos, or how many hours the programming is on. I think the kids are more interested in the shows and movies. The kids like the excitement of discovery, sports, adventure, and humor. They are watching television, movies, and sports for pure entertainment.
