Disney Releases New Logo For Frankenweenie

Disney has revealed a logo this weekend at the D23 Expo in Anaheim for their new stop motion movie to be release next year called Frankenweenie.

The movie is a remake of 1984 short film of the same name.  This film will be directed by Tim Burton and is going to be shot in 3D black and white.  This movie will follow a young boy named Victor obsessed with horror movies who decides to bring his dog Sparky back to life after he is hit by a car, except with a few minor adjustments. And true to Tim Burton form several actors who have worked with the director in the past are providing voices for the film.  Catherine O’Hara, Winona Ryder, Martin Landau and Martin Short will rejoin him on the film providing the following voices.

Winona Ryder will provide the voice of Elsa van Helsing,  Catherine O’Hara will provide the voice of Susan Frankenstien/ Edgar/ Gym teacher / Mrs. Epstien / Weird girl, Martin Short will provide the voice of  Mr. Walsh / Toshiaki / Mr. Bergermeister / Bob / Mr. Curtis,  and Martin Landau will provide the voice of Mr. Rzykruski.  Will you be checking out this movie when it comes out?
