Debby Ryan’s Jessie Set to Premiere in September

Well it is now official TV Guide has released a premiere date for the new Disney show called ‘Jessie’ which stars Debby Ryan.  ‘Jessie’ is set to debut on September 30th.

The show will follow Jessie a young 18 year old who goes from rural Texas and moves to New York City.  Not only does she have to adjust to the busy life of Manhattan but she suddenly finds herself becoming a nanny to four young children living in a multi-million dollar penthouse.  She becomes a nanny to 13-year-old Emma, played by Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules’ Peyton List, 10-year-old Indian adoptee Ravi (Karan Brar); 12-year-old American adoptee Luke (Cameron Boyce); and 7-year-old African adoptee Zuri (Luke and Skai Jackson).  One of the children is said to have an imaginary friend and another has a pet capybara.  Assisting her with her nanny skills is Bertram, a mean, lazy butler and Tony, a 20-year-old doorman who secretly likes Jessie.

The shows has been highly anticipated as it skipped the pilot phase and was put directly in production by the Disney Channel and has been bumped from 13 episodes to 20.  Debby Ryan is best know for her role on the Suite Life on Deck starring as Bailey Pickett.  Will be checking out this new show?
