Brenda Song Leaves Disney Behind

Brenda Song

Former Disney star Brenda Song is officially out of Disney. She has just signed a new contract with United Artist Agency and is no longer under International Creative Management. While she is still under Curtis Talent Management, she can still say yes to more films like The Social Network. In fact, Brenda has two new movies in the works called First Kiss and Boogie Town. Both movies do not have release dates at the moment.

Brenda worked for Disney since she was 17 years old, meaning she has been with for a big chunk of her career. Brenda has starred in a handful of Disney movies and at least 2 shows from them. She had her big break last fall in The Social Network, a choice that gained her an Oscar nomination. Sadly she did not win. But the girl can certainly try again with more serious acting jobs.

What do you think about the news? I think this opens a whole new chapter in her life. I hope we can expect to see her more of her on the screen soon. That is one thing that I always admired about her-which is her drive to move on from the past. I think being freed up from Disney will give Brenda a chance to play more serious roles. This is her time to shine and show us the real Brenda Song.

The film Social Network was nominated for an Oscar but Brenda Song WASN’T nominated for an Oscar.

This is a really inaccurate and flawed article. She has been with Disney for a lot longer, at least since she was 12/13 or so. Also, even though she is taking on roles outside of Disney, she’s still affiliated with the company and was just at D23. Hence, the whole article isn’t serving it’s purpose. I’m not trying to come off as rude by any means, just giving you the heads up to do your research.

Sarah Reel, please avoid ever writing another article again if you don’t get your facts straight first. This article is a MESS.
