The second Wizards of the Waverly Place made for TV movie may not be 100 percent dead.

Maria Canals-Berrara who is co-stars with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts in the upcoming “Larry Crowne” spoke recently about the intel she had just received about the on-again/off-again second movie.  The actress played the mother of magical Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jake T. Austin on the popular Disney show.  She mentioned that there may be a chance that the second movie may actually happen and that there is a script which looks really good.  Which means the project is not completely dead as it had been rumoured to be.  Maria spoke about all this while at the world premiere of Larry Crowne and she mentioned that the news she received was from a reliable source but wouldn’t give any more information away.

The first movie which was a further adaptation of the television series and premiered on the Disney Channel on August 29, 2009 and the film won “Outstanding Children’s Program at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards.  Of course getting the cast together especially with Selena Gomez shooting to near super stardom.  What do you think?  Would you like to see a second movie?

Wizards Movie 2 – Fingers Crossed it will happen. As BIG as Selena Gomez maybe, which is not entirely merited by her talent, but who she’s sadly dating, she surely wouldn’t pass up a Movie for a Show that put her on TOP – would she?

Oh, really. Because I was going to make a Christmas movie, like with Drake & Josh. Alex, Justin, and Max could use magic to make the holidays extra special, and then have the wizard competition during Christmas break to see who gets the family powers.
