you ever wanted to know what are some of the highest grossing film franchise ever? Movies like Harry Potter are pretty obvious in this list, but they also have a few that would surprise some. However, some movie will surprise that are higher than others. Here is the official list.

Those are the 8 highest grossing movie franchises. It starts with the highest one and slowly works their way down. One surprise was the lack of Twilight in the list. It sticks with most older films, but a few newer ones are sitting pretty. No reason was given expect for the fact that the starts can get around this loophole.

I do wonder what he point was to release this list, besides entertainment points? It really won’t do anybody much good except for those who did so well and to be reminded of that. I do wish they would give more info as to why, but I suppose to be happy that the list does show a few of the better movies. I wonder if Twilight or Transformers will find themselves on this list.
