Selena Gomez Talks Social Media To Girl’s Life

Selena Gomez has been a favorite of Girl’s Life magazine ever since she came on the scene. So it makes sense that she would be the September cover girl to talk about the end of her series. However, you can see that the once cute Disney star is now a more serious adult.

She talked to them all about her hate for social media. While she does use Twitter and loves to connect with fans, she says she dislikes the mean people on there. She states that she lives in fear of disappointing her fans and that is the last thing she would ever want to do.

Here is her exact quote about that topic.

There are worse things than someone disliking you and people on the Internet saying this or that, but I can’t lie. It hurts. I have a love-hate relationship with the Internet. I don’t like it in general. It’s vicious. Every choice that I make when it comes to my personal life, my films or my music, I always say, ‘Would my fans be proud of that?’ If I did something to kind of upset them, it would really crush me.

It is good to hear that she still wants her fans to look up at her. Unlike her fellow former Disney star Miley, who tried to shed the good girl image. Thus I have huge respect for Selena, even if she has grown up to a degree in the past year or so. She is still trying to keep her fans in mind.
