Selena Gomez Takes On Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass

Selena Gomez is following the foot steps of her BFF Taylor Swift. She recently covered a Nicki Minaj song called “Super Bass” during her recent concerts. You will find the video if it at the bottom of this post.

Selena has stated before her love of cover songs, so it should not come as a surprise that she would do a few on tour. But her picks thus far have not been stellar choices for her style. Her previous picks were much better than this one; I hope that we can expect to see better choices from her later on. She did hint at a few Britney Spears covers, so I am hoping that we can get to see that actually happen.

I wonder if she will do a poll like she did last year? I think that would be a smart move for her, since I am sure she wants her fans to be pleased with her choices. Wouldn’t be fun if she did a cover of Justin Bieber? That would be a lot of fun for her and her fans, but I doubt she would agree to do such a song. I am not sure why she wouldn’t, but I think she would be worried about the backlash it would cause. Who do you think she should cover?
