Rihanna’s Battleship Trailer

For years, little boys and some girls everywhere enjoyed the classic board game Battleship. Now they have turned the board game to a movie that will open on May 18th 2012. You will find the official trailer of it at the bottom of this post.

The movie will star Brooklyn Decker, Rihanna, Liam Neeson, and Taylor Kitsch. This is the first big promotional move for it, and also provides us a look at how well it will transfer from the board to screen. The movie is about a fleet of ships that have to battle it out with a group of unknown ships. It should provide us with more of a back-story than the game, but it will also be very action packed for the game’s fans.

I am not sure how well a movie based on a game will be. It should be interesting to see how well it does or does not do. I do think that it would help if they had a big star attached to it, but it might do well since Rihanna is involved. I don’t recall hearing about this movie before, or if I did, it must have not been very much. At least we can see that this is a more unique take than some of the more recent films coming out.
