Parker Brothers Introduces Harry Potter Clue Game

There is a new “Harry Potter” edition of Clue, the mystery game. The new “Harry Potter” movie has made lots of money (so it must be a very good movie right?) and a new game, Clue Harry Potter Edition is being released on July 21, 2011.

In this new game, there are new game play characteristics and a moving Hogwarts gameboard. A student has disappeared through dark magic. The disappearence can be solved by playing the part of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna or Neville. Find out who caused the disappearence and what spell or item was used. Discover where the student was attacked. Could it have been Draco Malfoy with a sleeping draught in the Owlery? There are secret passages. When you think you know the facts, go to Dumbledore’s office and make your final accusation. The game is sold for $42.20 and ships for free at Amazon.

I enjoy playing Clue and trying to discover who committed the murder. with which weapon, and in which room did the murder occur. The Clue Harry Potter Edition will be a different mystery to solve. The new game sounds like a lot of fun with a different setting and other characters. Solving the game needs the strategy of deduction. By keeping track of the clues you eliminate the suspects, the weapon of choice, and the room in which the disappearence occurred. Then you need to find the victim at Hogwarts. There are secret staircases and passages to keep in mind. Then you need to solve the disappearance in a timely manner so as to win.
