Neil Patrick Harris Would Love To See Oprah Host The Oscars

Neil Patrick Harris, star of the Smurfs is supporting Oprah Winfrey to host the Oscars. Neil says Oprah is “Classy and good”.

Harris heard the Academy was asking Winfrey to host the Oscars and he thought it was a good idea. The Chicago Sun Times said that Oprah was the first choice on the Academy’s list of potential hosts for 2012. The Academy told Access Hollywood that Oprah Winfrey was just speculation.

In my opinion, there are a lot of rumors put out in Hollywood. One never knows what is real or hearsay. The Oprah Winfrey rumor is a good example of this. Someone hears a report and jumps on the bandwagon. This rumor spreads around and many people believe it. I wonder if rumors swirling around affect the actual outcome of a given story. Is the rumor mill a publicity stunt thought up to promote people? Then there are the rumors that spread about stars who are in troubled relationships. The rumors may push the relationship over the brink of no return. I think that these kinds of rumors are mean. Some of the gossip magazines have been sued for liable and lost the suit. What is a person to believe?
