Marvel Released Movie Poster for The Avengers

Take a look at the new movie poster for Marvel’s upcoming film, ” The Avengers. The movie’s production has begun and the movie is to open in the theaters nationwide on May 4, 2012. The actors in “The Avengers” are Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Blackwidow, Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

I think the action and superhero characters must be very popular. I guess with “Captain America” being so popular this summer, the Marvel Studios are hoping to make quite a few movies about their superheroes. The “Batman” series of movies were very good. They were dark dramas with engrossing stories and dismal scenery. Gotham City was a frightening and forbidding place. The characters of the antagonists were fanciful anf bigger than life. If the new superhero movies are as good as the “Batman” movies, they

will probably have a long run for the series at the theaters. If the movies are only as good as the television shows “The Hulk” and “Superwoman”, they may nobe so popular. The first movie, “Captain America the First Avenger” is off to a good start.
