Martha Stewart Launches Kid’s Show

Domestic diva Martha Stewart has a new project out there and this one is for the kids! She will be taking over the web with a new series of sorts that will help encourage people in becoming more domestic. This is one of Martha’s newest projects since slowly getting her career back in order after legal issues.

Martha and Friends is a web series based on a 10 year old Martha helping people learn how to do crafts. Martha stated that she wants new generations to become crafty and learn how to do things the old fashion way. It will be a 26 episode series for now, which premiered on AOL Kids this past Friday.

Yikes, I will admit that the concept is a tad creepy. But I do think the idea behind the show is good. I would personally think PBS would be a better outlet for the show than the web, but I am not Martha and that might have been her only option. I do hope she finds success with it, since I do believe she is doing some good work with it. I just think she should have looked into a better sydication options than she did before.
