Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

“Harry Potter” earns $476 million worldwide. It is not surprising because there are so many fans of “Harry Potter”. This series has been so popular ever since the first book was published.

The last “Harry Potter” film broke box office records with $168.6 million in the U.S. and Canadian ticket purchsaes in the opening weekend. It made almost $476 million worldwide. It bested the previous record of $158.4 million for the 2008 Batman ,”The Dark Knight”. It was the first “Potter” fim put out in 3D.

I think the big numbers for “Deathly Hallows-Part 2″ proves the story captivates audiences even after ten years since the first movie. The “Harry Potter” series has become a classic series and it’s fan base has grown. I think it’s remarkable popularity is because there is good versus bad. The good wins. Another reason is in the enduring friendship of Harry, Ron, and Hermione that lasts through thick and thin. The setting of Hogwarts school with all the fantastic antics such as the game, Quidditch, owls with mail, giants, witches, wizards, flying brooms, and elves all add to the attraction of the story. I think the “Harry Potter” series of books and movies will continue to be quite popular in the future.
