Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen have made fashion one of their main focuses. They got an early start in the style when they sold their first line of clothes and accessories for young girls exclusively at Wal-mart, a project didn’t last long due to fashion industry ethics. Since then they have created and sold several select fashion lines including Elizabeth & James and Olsenboye(exclusively at JCPenney).

Their latest project is designing for StyleMint, an online retailer that specializes in trendy tees for women. The website(which officially launched July 1st), allows customers to create a free style profile which will give them recommendations and fresh styling options each month. There is absolutely no obligation to purchase anything plus the tees start at the reasonable price of $29.99.

Their new fashion project couldn’t have come at a better time because back-to-school is just around the corner! A tee shirt may be just a tee shirt to some people, but with so many different styles and choices to choose from, I think that the personalized recommendations are a genius idea.
