Taylor Swift Talks With TeenVogue About Friends And Fame

Jun - 29 2011 | Anna Peel | no comments

No matter how high your fame level goes up, some things in life will never change. We all long to stay close to our good friends, we all deal with bouts of nervousness, and we all have wardrobe favorites. In a recent interview with Teen Vogue, Taylor Swift talks about all of this and more.

Her recent cover story will be featured in the August 2011 issue of Teen Vogue, and we have the scoop on her interview.

On her nerves just before performing: “I do [get nervous]. But only if I’m not sure what the audience thinks of me, like at award shows. I never look down at the front row! My heroes watching = nerves!”

On her BFF TV Character: “Detective Olivia Benson from Law & Order S.V.U. I sit in my apartment and watch hours of that show. So I sort of feel like me and Olivia are BFFs.”

On her best friends: “My friends all have different jobs — some I get to see at award shows, some I see when they’re home from college, some are in my band! I’m so lucky to have so many people I love and trust.”

On that dress that she absolutely loves: “I get to wear it every night on tour at the end of the show when I’m singing ‘Love Story.’ It’s long and sparkly (big surprise, right?) and a total princess dress.”

From every Taylor Swift interview I’ve read or saw on video, I get the impression that she is a down-to-earth girl, which is something that seems to be rare in Hollywood. She never comes across as someone who pretends to be someone their not and that’s so refreshing! She’s also got fabulous style. Want to copy her style? Check out the teaser video below.
