DS Lite
After the Nintendo 3DS portable gaming machine was introduced in March, the Japanese video game company is lowering the price of its Nintendo DS Lite which came out in 2006. Starting on June 5, the DS Lite will cost $129.00 – $30.00 less than the present retail price. The machine opens up with two screens. The lower screen is enabled by touch. Friends can play in the same room if all have the same gaming machine. One can play long distance with others over the Wi-Fi network.

The 3 DS has two screens also and lets gamers play 3-D games without wearing special glasses . Sometime this summer, 3-D movies can be streamed from Netflix. The 3DS cost $250.00. There is the handheld Ds, the DSi that costs $150.00. A bigger screen edition called DSiXL costs $170.00.

I think Nintendo is wise to lower the price of its DS Lite since it can be used with the popular Wi-Fi network. However, 3D movies are very popular and are in movies theaters all over.

Do you think the Nintendo DS Lite will sell more because of price reduction? Or do you think the 3DS that can be used without 3D glasses will sell better”

no it will not sell for $199 but it might sell for $99

it will cost $99 not $199 and the DS Lite does not upfront support Wi-Fi or internet browsing, just in the background. Get your facts straight before you post things
