New Clue’s for J.K. Rowling’s Pottermore

You will have to wait five more days to find out what the author J.K. Rowling has in store for us all with her new site Pottermore but there are a few clues that have emerged.

J.K. Rowling the author of the very popular Harry Potter series just recently put up the super secret Pottermore website.  There was not much to the site other then two owls sitting on branches with the very ominous ‘Coming soon’ sitting between the owls.  When you clock on one of the owls t takes you to a YouTube counter.  Entertainment Weekly has reported that the Pottermore trademark was registered by Warner Bros. two years ago as a service that provides multiple-users access to a global computer information network.  This would likely include such things as a electronic bulletin board to transmit messages among users on several topics, facilities for online users to interact with each other real-time, new stories and a MMORPG of sorts.

Of course nothing is entirely definitive but the days are counting down until we will learn more.  Another countdown we are all waiting for is when the final Harry Potter film comes to theaters on July 15th.  How excited are you about the new website?  What do you think will also be on the website?
