Miley Cyrus Records Video Message For Get Ur Good On

Miley Cyrus hasn’t really done much charity work since last year in my opinion. But she is now back to work with her charity project called Get Ur Good On. Since the start of the year, she has focused on her music career, not leaving much room for anything else. However, she seems to be slowly adding new things back to her mix of jobs.

Miley recorded a special message for her fans to help spread her charity out more. This is the first non-music related video that Miley has released thus year, which you will find at the bottom of this post. In the video, she goes into detail about how she started the charity and urges other people to join the effort.

I am glad that she is getting back involved with her charity projects. I really think that was one thing people loved about her from the start. She had a big heart and it is nice to see that hasn’t changed. I just hope she stays involved in them now. That is the key to help keep them successful, it cannot survive without her star power or having her as a head of it without her being there. You either have to put a lot of you in it or give it up, and she seems to be realizing that at least about work now. So I have hope she will see that now as well for charities.

    Sarah Peel, seeing as how Miley Cyrus spent the first three months of this year shooting a movie, don’t you think it’s a bit inaccurate to claim that she’s spend all her time on her music career? Plus, she has worked on several charity projects this year, including travelling to Haiti to help poor kids who can’t hear with hearing aids and receiving an award for her charity work. Just because she doesn’t make a big publicity deal out of her charity work doesn’t mean she’s not doing it! You are amazingly inaccurate in your reporting. It’s just astounding how often you get the story wrong.

    Sara why can’t you write the truth? As stated by other writers Miley went to Haiti and worked with the deaf and she did her backpack thing at a school while on tour in South America. You also didn’t mention she won an award in Feb or March for all her charity work. Leave the girl alone!!

    This year, besides, as others have written, going to Haiti to help distribute hearing aids to the deaf, she has also volunteered her time and talents in late July as the prize to a raffle for the Starkey Foundation’s Gala Dinner. Besides donating a portion of her concerts proceeds to charity, she also auctioned off some of her clothes for charity.

    It may not be charity per se, but she hasn’t been afraid to attach her name to controversial causes that she believes in. While I don’t agree with her viewpoint on some of them, I admire her willingness to speak about them.

    It’s amazing how you and a few others just NEVER want to give her the credit or the benefit of the doubt she so richly deserves and that you’re so willing to give to others when, with the possible exception of Nick Jonas, there’s nobody in her age group (actually, most ages) who does more.

    True charity is contributing because it’s in your heart; not to earn you a commendation from an internet blogger. Miley has a true kindness and big heart that you just don’t see in too many people.

    miley cyrus is a great person and even though sometimes wen she acts like a **** no one has the right to critise her shes just being a teenager,and wen she took drugs im sure alot of ye have taken them….so LEAVE HER ALONE xxx
