Lance Bass Wants To Discover The Next Boyband

Boybands have been a pop culture phenom long since the early days of rock-and-roll. Just ask your grandparents about The Beatles. And in just over the last 20 years, the number of boy bands has been so abundant that it practically is a genre in itself. With romantic ballads, upbeat pop tracks, and swoon-worthy dance moves, its easy to see why these pop groups are a dime a dozen. Perhaps this is why former NSYNC member Lance Bass has decided to be the next to discover the latest boyband?

Lance Bass is reportedly working with music channel VH1 to create a talent show that will feature fresh new boy bands who compete to be the next greatest pop band. The name of the show and the actual details of the show have yet to be shared with the public, but it is mentioned that former boy band stars like A.J. McClean(Backstreet Boys) and Joey McIntyre(New Kids On The Block) will join the show and help shape the future band.

It was bound to happen sooner or later because new boy bands emerge in and out of vogue every about every decade or so. Every generation needs a memorable music group or two to reminisce by.
