Kidz Bop Searches For Next Kidz Bop Star

If you watch Nickelodeon and Disney, then you know all about the hit CD series called Kidz Bop. The series provides kids a chance to sing the current hot songs from the radio, but also providing kid friendly music. But as some kids leave the program, Kidz Bop has to find new stars. This is where the second The Kidz Star USA Talent Search 2011 comes in.

The contest they are holding will allow a winner to record a song, music video and get signed. Celebrity mentors will help chose and shape the semi-finalist, but the mentors are still unnamed at this point. You can enter by submitting a 90-second video of singing a song via their website until August 15th. You can also go on the site and help pick who you think should win the reward. It is open to ages 15 or under.

I think this is a great chance for kids to have their dreams come true. I do wonder what will be one of their deciding factors for the finale winner? I would like to think that they would make sure someone would win who has enough talent, but also the drive. I doubt the job is all that easy, even if they do not deal with press like actual stars do.
