Jake Gyllenhaal Guest Stars on Man Vs Wild

When the next season of Man Vs Wild kicks off viewers will get a chance to see how Jake Gyllenhaal will fair against the wild.  The Source Code actor will have his survival skills put to the test when he guest stars on British wilderness man Bear Gryll’s hit TV show Man Vs Wild.

Jake will be following in Will Ferrell’s footsteps who appeared on the Discovery Channel series – Will the funnyman appeared on the show last year.  Gyllenhaal’s adventure will kick off the upcoming Season 6 of Man Vs Wild which airs on July 11th.  Gryll’s, the hardcore survivalist insists TV viewers will be amazed with his sidekick’s skills.  He comments that the wild usually reveals people’s ability not only physically but mentally as well and he promises Jake came out strong.

The show follows the premise that Gryll’s is left stranded in a region and it documents his efforts to survive and find his way back to civilization.  Usually the show includes him making or acquiring an overnight shelter of some kind.  He is also documents successful and failed survivals in the particular area he is in.  Will you be exited for the new season of Man Vs Wild?
