J.K. Rowling Unveils Pottermore

J.K. Rowling has caused a buzz with the chat about Pottermore. Many fans have wondered what it was or how it would affect the world of Harry Potter. So when J.K. said she had a plan in the world of muggles who want to be like Harry to keep on living that dream. You can hear all about Pottermore in her video posted at the bottom of this post.

Pottermore will be an online mass multiplayer game that will also have exclusive content. It is one of the ways for J.K. to thank her fans and help keep the series alive for thousands of fans. Since the movie franchise ends next month, they wanted to find a new lease on life for the series. It will also allow fans from younger generations to enjoy the series and capture some of it’s top days again.

I have to say that I am surprised that it took this long for Pottermore to come out. I would assume that would have been one the ways that she would want to cash in. But I suppose that it makes sense she would also want to save for the last, since it does allow fans to keep the series alive.
