Harry Potter’s Tom Felton Feared They Were Going To Be Replaced
Do you remember Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley, Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, and Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy? You better since they were the stars in all the Harry Potter films. Something that they all were worried that they would lose.
Tom Felton said he first auditioned for the part of Ron Weasley. He was “very glad” that he was cast as Draco Malfoy. Felton also said that the cast had only signed up to make the first movie, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in 2001. Though they had extended the contracts for a while based on the success of the first one. Then the cast feared being recast after 2004′s Goblet of Fire. Tom Felton said, “We all feared that after the fourth film that they were going to get rid of us and start again with new kids. So yeah, we’re very proud to have made it all the way through so to speak.” Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 which is the finale film of the franchise, will be released on July 15, 2011.
I think Draco is a good antagonist to Harry Potter. Draco wants to make Harry’s magical education miserable. Draco is a snob, a bully, and a manipulator knowing which button to push to get reactions. I think J. K. Rowling ‘s names of her characters are very imaginative and unique. One won’t forget her characters easily. The characters are so realistic and believable. I think one could walk out of one’s door of a morning and meet up with people who act just like the Harry Potter characters including giants, goblins, elfs, and pixies. I do believe that J. K. Rowling ‘s Harry Potter series are classic books that will last for a long time. Thus goes the same for the films, which I am glad that they kept the cast the same otherwise it would have not been the same if they changed them up.
