Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint Talks About Spiders and Fears

Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint who plays Ron Weasley in the franchise shares a common fear with his movie alter ego. Rupert has no issue admitting that he has a fear of spiders and that it has gotten out of hand. However, he does have good news to share with his friends.

He told Attitude magazine that he has over come his server fear of spiders for an upcoming vacation. He is planning to go down to Australia and had to over come his fear for it. He shared that he could not sleep until he checked for spiders, which is part of the reason why he had to over come his fear. He did not state how he did it, but did act as if he was fully cured from it.

I have to agree that spiders are pretty frightful. While I am not as bad as he claimed he was, I am happy to see that he sought help. However, it would have been nice if he said how so he could help those who may also have server fears. Maybe later on Rupert will provide those details. But being able to go on a vacation will be a nice way to close out this one chapter of his life.
